Religious schools have replaced academic schools for girls in Afghanistan.
With the closing of the gates of primary schools above sixth grade and universities, girls’ interest in religious schools has inevitably increased and these religious schools have replaced girls’ schools and hundreds of girls attend these centers.
It seems that the Taliban have an insatiable thirst to establish schools in Afghanistan at different levels.
Many are worried that excessive investment in religious schools will reduce the quality of university and school education. According to the Taliban, religious education is preferable to academic education. Of course, they have also said that they are working hard for the education process at the school and university level.
A large number of girls who have been excluded from school and university have turned to religious schools. Some of them have already said that even though they cannot get a medical or other professions of their choice through religious education, they have turned to religious education so that they do not fall behind in education.
So far, a large number of girls have graduated from religious education courses in schools under the Taliban administration.
Many believe that the Taliban are now trying to align Afghan citizens with their radical ideas by reinvesting in religious schools.
