Modi won the Indian elections, but his party failed to win a majority of seats
After the election results were announced in India, Narendra Modi became the prime minister for the third time, but the ruling BJP party failed to win a majority of seats and may lose its power in the parliament. Out of 543 seats, only 293 seats were won by Modi’s party and the rest were secured by various parties. According to media reports, Modi is trying to form a new government through alliances with other parties. The opposition coalition led by Rahul Gandhi again won 230 seats, which may have a larger share of the government.
