Responding to health concerns in Afghanistan; Global Fund contributed nearly five million dollars
The international donor organization Global Fund says that it has approved four million and seven hundred thousand dollars of emergency aid in the field of awareness, diagnosis and treatment of HIV, tuberculosis and malaria in Afghanistan.This organization said in an announcement yesterday afternoon (Thursday, 3rd of August) that services will be provided for one million and three hundred thousand Afghans returning from Pakistan using this financial aid.The announcement states that four decimal seven million of the emergency budget will be added to the $66 million financial aid, which is intended for a three-year period from January 1, 2024.This financial aid will be used by the United Nations Development Program.
