Local Taliban officials in Herat say that they have prevented the smuggling of antiquities to Iran.

The Al-Farooq Taliban Corps in western Afghanistan published a newsletter on Monday, 30 Delu, saying that the intelligence officials of the Taliban’s 5th Border Brigade have prevented the smuggling of antiquities to Iran.According to the newsletter, these works included 1,500 grams of precious glass and 34 rings of ancient artifacts that were received in the Golran district of Herat.According to the Taliban, one person has been arrested in connection with this incident.Meanwhile, four people were arrested with an advanced device to find antiquities in Parchman district of Farah province in the month of Sanblah of the current year.
