Afghan Charity Foundation Azizi Delivers 300 Homes to Earthquake Victims in Herat
Azizi Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by Afghan businessman Mirwais Azizi, has distributed 300 residential homes to earthquake victims in the village of Siaabab in the Zenda Jan district of Herat province.
The foundation said it built the homes at a cost of $20 million in less than four months.
Mirwais Azizi, the foundation’s chairman, wrote on his Facebook page that he attended the ceremony to hand over the homes to the earthquake victims.
After the Herat earthquake, Azizi Foundation announced that it would provide $20 million in aid to earthquake victims in Herat. Azizi said that he would build homes and shelters for the victims.
However, Taliban-run media reported that the residential complex has 220 housing units.
The delivery of the homes is a major boost for the earthquake victims in Herat. The homes will provide them with much-needed shelter and security. The Azizi Foundation’s work is a testament to the generosity of the Afghan people. The foundation has been a major source of aid to Afghans in need, including earthquake victims, refugees, and the poor.
