Richard Bennett: Priority should be given to women’s rights at the Doha meeting

Richard Bennett, the UN Human Rights Council’s special rapporteur for Afghanistan, said that he did not participate in the second Doha meeting that began today (Sunday, December 29).He wrote in X that he hopes this meeting will lead to meaningful and inclusive meetings among key stakeholders who always prioritize the discussion of human rights, especially women’s rights, as the core of Afghanistan’s future path.
