Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid called the joint statement of the foreign ministers of 12 countries at the Munich security meeting baseless and said that the rights of all Afghan citizens are protected.Mr. Mujahid said in X that “spreading concern and creating a sense of threat and fear about Afghanistan, either shows the lack of information of the countries, or some biased people spread false information in such gatherings and present a false image of Afghanistan.”Earlier, at the 2024 Munich Security Conference, 12 European countries expressed concern about the human rights situation in Afghanistan and said that the situation in Afghanistan has not changed since last year’s meeting.​
