Sultan Ali Javadi, the manager of Nasim Radio, was sentenced to one year in prison
The Federation of Journalists in Exile demands the immediate release of Sultan Ali, the director of Nasim Radio. Abdul Samad Hamedpuya, Secretary General of the Federation of Journalists’ Organizations in Exile, strongly criticized the suppression of the media in Afghanistan and says that after the Taliban regime took over, the freedom of the media in this country has fallen and the graph of violence against journalists and media workers has increased. After being arrested twice and spending 17 days in prison in Daikundi, Sultan Ali Javadi was sentenced to one year in prison by the primary court of the Taliban regime in this province on the 20th of last year.
