The meeting of “Hirmand water commissioners” between Iranian officials and the Taliban ended without results

According to Iranian media, the 27th meeting of the “Hermand Water Commissioners” between Iran and Afghanistan, aimed at pursuing Iran’s water rights from the Helmand Sea, has ended without results.The report states that this meeting was held on the 25th and 26th of the current year with the presence of the representatives of the two countries in the city of Zabul, Iran.  Based on the report, the representatives of Iran in this meeting emphasized on removing the obstacles in the payment of the country’s water rights, such as the construction of water dams on the way to the Helmand Sea.​
