The project whose practical work was stopped about 2 years ago.Breshna Company has announced that after detailed discussions with the World Bank, the practical work of this project is going to start soon. According to Breshna’s spokesperson, after detailed discussions with the World Bank, the bank has agreed to resume the work of Casa Ikehazar project in Afghanistan soon.Hekmatullah Meyvandi, the spokesman of Breshna, said that the Taliban in Afghanistan are committed and ready to cooperate for the implementation of this project. KASA Ikehazar is a regional project, with the completion of which, Afghanistan will get 300 megawatts of electricity annually in addition to the right of transit.The spokesperson of Breshna company also said that the companies that cooperated in the implementation of this project were also invited to start the preliminary work of this project again in the light of the commitments of the World Bank. The project that Afghanistan can earn 7 million dollars annually through the right of transit.The power transmission capacity of KASA is 1,300 megawatts, the cost of which is more than one billion dollars. Half of this money is supposed to be provided by the World Bank. An important regional project that is of special importance for Afghanistan and according to the experts of the Afghan government, it should be used in the best possible way.The facilities of Casa Ekehazar project in Afghanistan will be completed from Shir Khan Kunduz Port to Torkham Nangarhar with a length of 580 km. The project that Afghanistan will get 300 megawatts of electricity annually in addition to the right of transit.
