More than eleven million children are vaccinated against polio

“Afghanistan Free from Polio” organization has announced that since June 3rd, anti-polio vaccination has been started throughout Afghanistan and 11.2 million children under five years of age are supposed to receive the vaccine.

This course is supposed to continue for four days. Officials and health experts emphasize that this vaccine saves children from permanent paralysis. They ask all mothers and families to cooperate with vaccinators.
