Amnesty International requested people’s cooperation for the release of three civil activists from Taliban custody
Amnesty International has demanded the immediate release of human rights activist Manijeh Siddiqui, Ahmad Fahim Azimi and Sediqullah Afghan, education rights activists, from Taliban custody.In a statement published yesterday, Amnesty International said on the X channel that the Taliban government has arrested these activists while it has no evidence or documents against them.Previously, this organization had asked the Taliban government to release the imprisoned activists as soon as possible.Human rights activist Manije Siddiqui was arrested by the Taliban on October 9, 2023, and it has been about three months since the arrest of education rights activists Ahmad Fahim Azimi and Sediqullah Afghan.The Taliban government has not yet denied or confirmed the arrest of these activists.
