The US State Department has announced the holding of a meeting about Afghan women under the title “Coalition for the Economic Resistance of Afghan Women”.According to Memar news agency; The US State Department announced that they will hold a meeting on “Afghanistan women’s economic resistance” on February 27 in collaboration with Boston University.The US Ministry of Foreign Affairs continued that Irina Amiri and Tom West, US special representatives for Afghanistan and women’s affairs, are among the organizers of this meeting, as well as Anthony Blinken; The US foreign minister will also give a speech.This meeting will be held within the framework of the “Coalition for Economic Resistance of Afghan Women” initiative. The US Secretary of State launched this coalition in September 2022.It is said that this meeting will be held at the headquarters of the US Foreign Ministry.Organizers of the meeting said the meeting will focus on critical investments, partnerships and policies needed to accelerate economic development, entrepreneurship and education for Afghan women.​
