Türkiye’s emphasis on the formation of an independent Palestinian state
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the World Summit of Governments once again emphasized Israel’s acceptance of the two-state solution and said that Tel Aviv should recognize Palestine as an independent country.On Tuesday, February 13, at the meeting held in the United Arab Emirates, Erdoğan added that Israel has never given up on its “mass killing” policy.He pointed out: “The source of the current problem is the lack of a Palestinian state, and Israel must recognize the existence of an independent Palestinian state in order to eliminate the problems.”
