The talks between the US, Egypt, Israel and Qatar in Cairo on a new agreement to release the hostages and stop the war in the Gaza Strip have ended without achieving “serious” progress.Axios news agency quoted an official of the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office as reporting that the Israeli delegation has left Cairo and is on its way back to its country.William Burns, the head of the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Mohammad bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the Prime Minister of Qatar, Abbas Kamel, the head of the Egyptian Intelligence Organization, and a delegation from Israel were present in these talks.
