India and Iran are cooperating to strengthen relations with Afghanistan

India: We are interested in using Iran’s geopolitical position to communicate with AfghanistanIndian Foreign Minister Subramaniam Jaishankar has said in a meeting with his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amirabdollahian that India is interested in using Iran’s geopolitical and geographical position to communicate with Afghanistan.This meeting was held on Monday (Jedi 25) in Tehran.The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran has said that the two sides discussed a wide range of the latest international and regional developments, bilateral and multilateral relations in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and BRICS, the status of strategic connections, the development of Chabahar port and the importance of the North-South transit route.
