Iranian news agencies have reported that the president of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, has died.

Yesterday, the helicopter carrying Mr. Raisi had an accident near the village of Uzi located in the forests of Arsbaran.According to the report, Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian, Ayatollah Al-Hashim Imam of Tabriz, Malik Rahmati, Governor of East Azerbaijan, Sardar Seyed Mehdi Mousavi, head of the President’s Protection Unit, an Ansar al-Mahdi Corps force, a pilot and a co-pilot, and an Iranian technical officer were on board this flight.
