Air attack on the base of special fighters of the Taliban Ministry of Interior in Logar
Local sources in Logar report an airstrike on the base of the special fighters of the Taliban Ministry of Interior in this province.
Sources confirm that at 12:10 on Friday night, 28 Thor, the Taliban camp known as “Shakar Qala” in Mohammad Agha district of Logar Province was targeted by a drone attack.
Residents of the area have heard the sound of two “terrible” explosions even in the center of Logar.
According to the sources, these explosions were so strong that they damaged many people’s houses in Mohammad Agha district.
So far, there are no reports of possible losses and casualties caused by this air attack.
However, Abdul Matin Qane, the spokesman of the Taliban’s Ministry of Interior, said that the incident was caused by the explosion of “unexploded ordnance left over from past wars”.Shikarqala operational and educational base has been one of the important military centers of the Taliban in the south-eastern zone of the country, and from this place, the provinces of Paktia, Khost, Ghazni, Paktika and Maidan Wardak are covered by this group.
This attack took place while several provinces of the country witnessed the patrolling of unmanned aircrafts.
