America: We strongly support the appointment of a special representative by the UN Secretary General for Afghanistan

Mito Miller, the spokesperson of the US State Department, has said that the country strongly supports the request of the UN Security Council resolution to appoint a special representative for Afghanistan affairs and asks the UN Secretary General to appoint this representative as soon as possible.Miller made these statements yesterday (Tuesday, 24 December) in a press conference in response to a question about the position of the US government in the meeting of representatives of countries on Afghanistan affairs, which is to be held in Doha.
