Kyrgyzstan announced its support for connecting Afghanistan to China-Uzbekistan-Kyrgyzstan railway

Daniyar Aman Guldif, Minister of Economy and Trade of Kyrgyzstan, in a meeting with Nuruddin Azizi, Acting Minister of Industry and Trade of the Taliban, emphasized the development of trade and transit between Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan and said that Kyrgyzstan supports connecting Afghanistan to the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Taliban wrote in its X user account today that Nouruddin Azizi has asked the Minister of Economy and Trade of Kyrgyzstan to reduce the transit cost of Afghan commercial goods that are transferred to China through Kyrgyzstan.The ministry added that the two sides have agreed to form contact teams in this meeting.​
