Iran and Russia consultation about Afghanistan

Kazem Jalali, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Moscow, met with Zamir Kabulov, the director general of the second Asian department of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the special representative of the president of that country for Afghanistan affairs. In this meeting, the parties discussed the state of relations and bilateral cooperation between the republic Islamic Iran and Russia exchanged views and discussed in various fields, Afghanistan as well as developments in the West Asian region. Previously, while exchanging views and discussing the developments in Afghanistan, the parties emphasized the necessity of interaction and cooperation between the two countries in the field of Afghanistan issues.
