The officials of Badakhshan Provincial Hospital have announced the registration of four cases of attempted suicide in this province

Shafiq Hamdard, chief physician of Badakhshan provincial hospital, said on Saturday, 25th of Hamel, that during the days of Eid al-Fitr, four girls committed suicide by using “mouse death poisons”.

According to him, these girls were treated after being transferred to the hospital and saved from death.

Hamdard added that these girls wanted to commit suicide due to family violence and forced marriages.

This is despite the fact that seven days ago, an 18-year-old girl committed suicide in the city of Faizabad, the capital of Badakhshan province.
