The government of Pakistan finally approved the plan to build a pipeline to import gas from Iran

After about a decade of delay, the government of Pakistan has approved the plan to build a cross-border pipeline to receive 21 million cubic meters of gas from Iran per day.On Sunday, 6-Hout, Dan newspaper reported that the Energy Committee of the Pakistan Cabinet approved the construction of the remaining 80 kilometers of the 800-kilometer gas pipeline from the Iranian border to the port city of Gwadar.According to the approval of the government of Pakistan, the construction cost of this pipeline is 158 million dollars and it will be developed by domestic companies​
