Afghan journalists into exile

In a message on the occasion of “National Journalist’s Day”, the Taliban asked the country’s journalists to carry out their activities in accordance with “Islamic values” and “national interests”.The spokesperson of the Taliban, Zubihullah Mujahid, said that journalists are like “the bridge of communication between the nation and the government”.These statements are made while based on the latest report of the Afghan Journalists Center, the situation of freedom of media and journalists has deteriorated in Afghanistan in 1402 AH.In this report, it is stated that the media and journalists in 1402 in the country, in terms of the level of freedom and enjoyment of their fundamental and legal rights, faced severe restrictions and their rights were widely violated.
