James Webb telescope’s ‘stunning’ images of ‘spiral galaxies‘

A team of scientists has released multiple images of 19 “spiral galaxies” that show these galaxies in high resolution. These images, taken by the James Webb Space Telescope, provide new clues about the formation of stars and the structure and evolution of galaxies. It is said that these galaxies are located relatively near the Milky Way. Among these galaxies, the closest one is called NGC 5058, which is 15 million light-years away from Earth. And the farthest of them is NGC 1365, which is about 60 million light years away from Earth. One year of light distance is equal to a distance of about 9.5 trillion kilometers. The James Webb telescope was launched in 2021. Early the following year, he provided amazing images and information about the cosmos that changed the basic understanding of the field.
