Moments after the announcement of the judgment of the international court in The Hague regarding the case of genocide against Israel, the Prime Minister of this country, Benjamin Netanyahu, said in a reaction that Israel will continue to defend itself.Mr. Netanyahu added that Israel will continue the war “until absolute victory” and the hostages are returned home, and that his country will continue to defend its citizens by “adhering to international law.” On the other hand, South African Foreign Minister Naldi Pandour, who has traveled to The Hague, welcomed the court’s verdict on the case and told reporters that without a ceasefire in Gaza, “the court’s orders will not work in practice.” The South African Foreign Minister added that they wanted the word “cease of war” to be included in the verdict issued by the court; However, they are also “satisfied” with the current orders of the court. South Africa demanded an immediate cease-fire in the proposal section of the complaint it filed against Israel to the Hague Court; But the court did not agree to this request.​
