Torkham crossing was again closed to patients without a visa
Local media, citing officials of the Taliban’s Information and Culture Department in Jalalabad province in the east of the country, announced that the government of Pakistan has once again closed the “Torkham border crossing” to patients without visas.
According to these media, Pakistani officials have said that patients without visas will not be allowed to enter Pakistan after this.
Before this, a number of patients, especially cancer patients, could travel to Pakistan without having a visa or passport and by receiving a “token sheet” at the border between the two countries.
