Condemning the Israeli attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus
Two days after the air attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, the capital of Syria, John Kirby, the spokesman for the National Security Council of the White House, says that the United States had no role in this attack.

This is despite the fact that earlier, in response to the Israeli airstrikes that killed at least seven people, including two senior commanders of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, Iran’s foreign minister said that Tel Aviv is responsible for the consequences of this incident.
Abdullahiyan called this attack a violation of all international obligations and conventions.
