Journalists’ Center: The ban on photographing the Taliban in Kandahar is an “extremely backward” action

The Center of Afghan Journalists has considered the ban on taking pictures and filming official and unofficial meetings of local Taliban officials in Kandahar as an “illegal and extremely backward” action.This institution published a statement today (Monday, 30th of December) and said that this order will “intensify restrictions on freedom of expression, increase self-censorship and significantly reduce media access to information” in Kandahar.
