Imran Khan was sentenced to 10 years in prison in the case of disclosure of government documents

A court in Pakistan sentenced Imran Khan and Shah Mahmood Qureshi, the former Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of this country, to 10 years in prison in connection with the case of revealing the confidential document known as “Cypher”. According to Express Tribune media, Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain of the special court established on the basis of the Official Secrets Act (OSA) has announced the court’s verdict on Imran Khan and Qureshi in a hearing held at the Adiale Jail compound in Rawalpindi.
