Kabul – Local sources in the Shahrak district of Ghor province confirm that a 12-year-old girl was killed and four others were seriously injured in a landslide in the Dara Bidan area.

The roof of a house belonging to a man named Mohammad Dawood had collapsed due to a landslide on a residential house, Abdul Hai Zaeem, the director of information and culture for Ghor, told Hasht-e Subh today (Wednesday, January 19).

According to Zaeem, due to the collapse of the roof and the falling of a stone last night, a 12-year-old daughter of Mohammad Dawood died and four others were injured.

The local Taliban officials say the condition of the three children who were injured in the incident is critical, adding that a woman was also injured in the incident and her health condition is satisfactory.

It is worth mentioning that the Ghor-Herat road in the Dara Bidan region has been blocked for the last two days due to a landslide.
