Husband Kills Wife in Baghlan

Kabul – Sources in Talhabarfak district of Baghlan province confirm that a woman was killed by her husband.

“The woman died after being beaten by her husband,” the sources told Hasht-e Subh today (Monday, January 10th).

In the meantime, Taliban security forces in Baghlan reported the arrest of the woman’s husband and said that the man had been handed over to Taliban officials with the help of the tribal elders in the district.

Local Taliban officials in Talhabarfak district blamed the murder on family problems, saying she was a newlywed and had been beaten by her husband due to family problems, and she had died after being admitted to the district health center.

The incident is said to have taken place in the Kafsh Andaz area of ​​Talhabarfak district of Baghlan province on (Wednesday, January 6).
