Taliban Shot Dead a Former Uprising Commander in Takhar
Kabul – Taliban shot dead, Jura, one of the commanders of the popular uprising of the former government, who is a resident of Tabatash village in Takhar district of Rustaq.
According to sources, the incident took place on Thursday night in the village of Khawja Palkhman in the district.
“He laid down his weapon and returned to a normal life after the general amnesty announced by the Taliban,” the commander’s relatives told Hasht-e Subh.
According to his relatives, the Taliban evicted him in the middle of the night, who had gone to his daughter’s house in the village of Khawja Palkhman, and dumped his body in a cave in the village after the shooting.
Local Taliban officials in Takhar have not yet commented on the incident.
It is worth mentioning that many ex-soldiers have been also killed by the Taliban in Takhar.
Meanwhile, the Interior Ministry of the Taliban announced on (Wednesday, January 12) that the security of the former military must be ensured, however, it seems that this order of the ministry in the provinces will not be implemented and the officers and soldiers of the ex-regime will be imprisoned, tortured or killed every day.
