Muttaqi Meets Norwegian Charity Foundations During Oslo Summit

Kabul – On the sideline of the Oslo summit, Amir Khan Muttaqi, the acting foreign minister of the Taliban-acting government, met with several Norwegian charities foundations to discuss the humanitarian situation in Afghanistan.

The meeting took place amid the officials of seven Norwegian charity foundations and Amir Khan Muttaqi today (Wednesday, January 26).

In the meeting, the charity foundations pledged to cooperate in the fields of health, education, agriculture and livestock, demining, and other humanitarian aid.

It is worth mentioning that the Oslo meeting ended on Tuesday, January 25, and during the three-day meeting, the Taliban delegation met with representatives of civil society and Norway’s allies, including the United States, Britain, and Germany.
