Local sources in Lal Wa Sarjangal district of Ghor province have reported that the Taliban fighters have killed two resistance forces who had surrendered to the Taliban in this district.
It is reported that they are the forces of Commander Mohammad Muradi who had surrendered by the Taliban in one of the villages of this district on Sunday, June 26, 2022.
The victim’s names are Arif and Asef who are shot dead on the way and their bodies are thrown away.
According to sources, four men, including Commander Muradi himself, were killed in a Taliban attack on Muradi’s, residence one of the former commanders of the popular uprising in in Lal Wa Sarangal district of Ghor province.
The Taliban governor’s media office did not mention anything about the capture of Commander Muradi; However, Muradi was as an accomplice of Mawlawi Mehdi, a former Taliban-affiliated commander.
Sources also say that the Taliban rebels have killed two of Muradi’s men who were arrested by Taliban.
According to war rules, war detainees and those surrender to the enemy should not be killed or tortured. In case of killing war detainees and surrendered soldiers, it is considered a war crime, but Taliban have been long committing this crime with no hesitation.
