Taliban Arrests Former Government Soldiers and Youths in Kapisa

The Taliban group has begun arresting a number of youths and former soldiers in Kapisa province, local sources report.
Sources told Hasht-e Subh Wednesday that the Taliban rebels have detained dozens of young men and ex-soldiers in Kapisa province since the last week.
According to sources, the Taliban have taken into custody most of these individuals from the Hesa Awal and Duwum districts of Kapisa province.
They have been arrested on the charges of collaborating with the National Resistance Front (NRF), sources said.
Since the Taliban rebels swept to power in August 2021, hundreds of civilians have been detained by this group in the northern provinces of Kabul and dozens more have been killed for allegedly collaborating with the Resistance Front.
