Panjshir’s Bota Tower Restored by 70%
Kabul – The Department of Information and Culture of Panjshir province informs about the progress in repairing and restoring the historical monument of Bota Tower in the province.
“The tower is repaired by 70 percent,” Nasrullah Malekzadah, director of Information and Culture in Panjshir, told Baano TV
According to him, the restoration of Bota Tower, which started about a year ago at a cost of 2.5 million afghanis, had been stopped for a while due to the cold weather.
In addition, it is located in the village of Abdullah Khail, in the Dara district of the province which is considered as one of the historical monuments of the country.
It is worth mentioning that the monument is more than 170 years old.
